Greenwood Union Cemetery Rye, NY – Northwest Block Development

The last large area for the cemetery to develop, the “Northwest Block” was a physical challenge that included exposed bedrock, wetlands and large soil stockpiles. The 2017 Master Plan provides a varied offering including traditional ground burial, cremation gardens, private and community mausolea. A total of 16,081 interment sites were provided in only 4.82 acres of available space.
